Our Story
A Calling
We didn’t set out to start a business—we answered a call.

Nestled in the hills of California, we found ourselves the unlikely stewards of an ancient olive orchard, nearly 150 years old. It had been neglected for decades. The trees were tall, wild, and overgrown. The olives were small, and many said they were too difficult to harvest. But we saw something sacred in the forgotten grove—something worth redeeming.

Over the course of several months, we pieced together the hidden history of this land and the man who first planted it. ​​​

In an 1885 newspaper, we uncovered a photograph of William Shillingsburg, the pioneer who began it all. What we have come to understand is that these trees are more than survivors — they are a living lineage, the oldest trace of a California Wild West creation: the rare Redding Picholine.
From the moment we uncovered the story of our forgotten grove, we felt called to steward it with care and Alpha & Omega Oil was born from that obedience. Each bottle is handcrafted with reverence from our own trees.

Our first offering was anointing oil, blended with biblical ingredients like myrrh, cassia, calamus, and cinnamon. Every bottle was prayed over, assembled slowly, and offered as a sacred reminder of the Holy Spirit’s presence.

From that beginning, our vision has grown. We expanded our line to include olive & tallow face creams, olive oil serums enriched with scientifically proven anti-aging compounds, lip balms, and more — each one crafted to nourish both skin and spirit.

2026 Los Angeles International Olive Oil Competition Results...
In a stunning announcement, our little company was just awarded a Bronze Medal from the 2026 Los Angeles International Olive Oil Competition! In a group of 588 extra virgin olive oils from 209 producers across 22 countries—from Italy, Greece, Spain, and Portugal to Australia, Morocco, Chile, and the United States—our small, unlikely grove was recognized.

Thank you to everyone in our community who has encouraged us, supported us, and believed in this alongside us. This win belongs to the trees, their rich history, and to all those who came before us... pouring their hearts into making the ground we stand on what it is today. We are so thankful for all those following along with our journey. The best is yet to come!
