Spirituality: Benefits of Anointing Oil

In a world full of noise and distraction, many believers long for simple, tangible ways to draw near to God. One practice woven throughout Scripture is the use of anointing oil. What Is Anointing Oil?   In the Bible, anointing oil was a mixture of pure olive oil and fragrant spices, set apart for holy use. It wasn’t the oil itself that held power—it was a physical reminder of God’s authority, His covering, and His Spirit at work. Today, Christians still use anointing oil as a simple act of faith, pointing our hearts back to the One who heals, restores, and strengthens.
